Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nestled in beautifully kept gardens with magnificent views over the medieval village of Châteauneuf, providing a peaceful ambiance. The rooms offer a great view of the grounds and the village church, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. While the restaurant on-site is very good, it can be a bit expensive. The location is fantastic for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.
I couldn't have asked for a better location - surrounded by stunning gardens with captivating views of the medieval village of Châteauneuf. The peaceful setting next to the village was delightful, although things seemed to quiet down after 9 pm. The hotel offered an unforgettable vista of the Ermitage St Julien ruins, making it truly picturesque. However, the access to local amenities like the Carrefour grocery store in the nearby village added convenience to the stay.
The hotel is set in beautifully kept gardens with magnificent views over the medieval village of Châteauneuf. The rooms offer a great view of the grounds & village church but have small high windows. The dining at the restaurant is very good but on the expensive side. Not far from other villages and beautiful countryside, though the Carrefour grocery store by McDonald's is in the next village.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and had nice views, including a private terrace where we enjoyed our wine while taking in the great view of the grounds and village church. The service was excellent, with laundry and pet amenities available. The location was peaceful in a park-like setting next to a small village, offering magnificent views over the medieval village of Châteauneuf. The dining experience, while included, was very good but on the pricier side. The facilities were top-notch, with everything well-maintained and enjoyable.
I found this hotel to be an absolute gem nestled in the heart of the village. The private terrace was a lovely touch, providing an amazing view of the castle-town a few miles away on a hill.
